Tango on the Edge: Seasonal Milongas
“Tango on the Edge” began back in the days of Adelaide’s notorious Weimar Room, where Southern Cross Tango was resident dance company for many years, presenting cabaret tango shows & milongas every month. Since then, the original Tango on the Edge concept has evolved into various themed Milongas such as the “Tango Nuevo Milonga”, “Milonga Experimenta”, “Tango & Tapas Milonga” & other themed feature events.
During 2011 Southern Cross Tango will present Seasonal Milongas at various venues, celebrating regional food, live music & the tango arts.

A Fireside Winter Milonga
Saturday 27 August 2011, 7pm – Midnight
Enjoy a delicious Italian supper created by Italian chef Andrew Clappis & family, with social tango dancing all evening at the fabulously unexpected venue ‘Our Place at Willunga Hill’ corner of Range Rd & Meadows Rd, on the top of Willunga Hill.
